Updates to the standard include:
- Clarification about the test set-up for the stability test for high chairs that can be reclined or adjusted in the front-to-back direction
- Clarification about where to place the test weights for the stability test when the weights cannot be centered on the seating surface
This standard applies to a free-standing chair for a child up to 3 years of age which has a seating surface more than 15 in. above the floor and elevates the child normally for the purposes of feeding or eating.
